Our girls’ basketball team had a stellar game against Shanghai United International School. In the first period, they scored 21 points. This immediately encouraged the girls. During the third period, our team’s forward scored five three-point shots in a row! Later on, SUIS had some fouls and received a few chances for free balls. Our players seemed to play with conviction; they shot over 90% from the free-throw line. The Lady Broncos ultimately sealed the game, saying goodbye to their opponents. Their momentum from this blowout win has set them up well to take on the next opponent.

A quick Q&A from the team
Q: What did you think of the game?
A: The game was very interesting and meaningful… and it encouraged us a lot. We fully demonstrate[d] our basketball skills… The atmosphere on the court was fantastic! Their team is pretty kind as well.
Q: Is there anything you think you can do better in the game next time?
A: Of course. First of all, our passing-and-shooting cooperation can be improved. Maybe next time we will have one or two teammates inside the free throw lane to take the rebound and the other three shooting, then we will have a higher scoring efficiency.
